My Grandad, Tom Sinclair, pictured here is the inspiration for this new venture. He was a saddler in Leeds, Yorkshire between 1949 and 1979. I picked up his tools a few years ago and found an excellent teacher – Mark Papworth, of White Buffalo Crafts. (whitebuffalocrafts.co.uk) from this starting point , I am slowly learning and developing my practice.
